Rolled oats: Quick oats can be used instead if needed.
Fresh blueberries or fresh cherries: If using fresh fruit instead of frozen use a frozen banana (instead of a fresh banana) or add 1 cup of ice cubes to make it cold and thick.
Frozen banana: Use a frozen banana instead of a fresh banana to make this smoothie thicker.
What is maca? Maca is an adaptogenic herb. It is known to support energy levels, libido, mood, stress, and hormone balancing. Look for it in the health food aisle at the grocery store.
