Camomile popsicles

Use your favourite tea blend, or what you are growing in the garden to make a lovely tea popsicle! Perfect for a cold summer treat with many nutritional benefits!

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 5 tea bags or 5 teaspoons loose tea (camomile, raspberry leaf, mint, fennel)
  • 3 cups hot water
  • ½ cup honey
  • 1 cup raspberries fresh or frozen

Instructions

  • In a large, measuring cup or bowl, place the tea, hot water and honey. Stir the tea to dissolve the honey. Then let the tea steep for 10 to 15 minutes. Remove the teabags, or (strain the loose tea).
  • Distribute the raspberries in the popsicle mould. Pour the tea over the raspberries and insert the lid or the popsicle sticks. Freeze for 8 to 12 hours.

Notes

This made 8 popsicles with my mold that hold ⅓ cup of liquid each.
Cane sugar can be replaced with honey.
Use chamomile, mint, elderberries, elderflowers, raspberry leaf, ginger, or whatever is your favorite tea blend! I like to buy good quality organic tea from Organic Matters.
Add edible flowers to make these popsicles really pretty!
