Pineapple Celery Smoothie

Here's the full recipe to make the best pineapple celery smoothie! This makes a sweet tangy green smoothie. It is refreshing and full of antioxidants and immune-boosting properties.

  • 1-3 stalks celery
  • 1 apple chopped
  • 1 handful spinach
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • ¼ cup fresh mint (a small handful)
  • 1 cup water or coconut water
  • 2 cups frozen pineapple

Instructions

  • Place 1 celery stalk, a chopped apple, spinach, lemon juice, and mint in the blender. Then add 1 cup of water or coconut water, and chia seeds if using. Place the pineapple on top. (Scroll up to top tips to see why we layer the blender like this)
  • Blend until completely smooth. Taste and add 1-2 more stalks of celery as desired. Pour into glasses and enjoy.
  • Any leftover smoothie can be stored in a mason jar or any airtight container in the fridge and consumed within the next 24 hours.

Notes

  • Protein Boost: Add 1 tablespoon of protein powder or 1 tablespoon of hemp hearts.
  • Energy Boost: Add 1 tablespoon of chia seeds
  • Anti-Inflammatory: Add 1 teaspoon of turmeric as this has incredible anti-inflammatory properties.
  • Sweeter Please!: Add 1-2 tablespoons of honey depending on your desired sweetness.
