I don't have protein powder in my kitchen, but I do like to eat balanced snacks. I know (and have experienced) that increasing the protein helps prevent getting shaky or lulls in my energy.
To solve this, I love to add hemp hearts to many of my snacks, like my hemp cookies and protein bars, because it's a whole food and easy to add in! In these protein balls without protein powder, I add hemp hearts and almond flour to make each energy ball contain 7 grams of protein.
