High Protein
Are you trying to eat more protein? Here are some nutrient dense homemade snacks for you that are high in protein. Most of these recipes are high in protein without using protein powder but instead things like eggs, hemp hearts, pumpkin seeds, nuts, nut butter, and whole grains.
I have included anything that has more than 5 grams of protein per serving in this category. To some this may be only considered moderate amounts of protein, however, I would often eat 2 servings of these, and many recipes contain more than 5 grams of protein per serving.
I would start by making this creamy cinnamon smoothie with quinoa! And then I would make my kids chocolate raspberry protein balls (it will be a toss up if I actually end up sharing them).
